How to do seated torso twist at home

Torso twist exercise benefits a lot for people’s health. If you do not want to go to gym, you can do torso twist at home as well. Here we tell you how to do seated torso twist at home.

First of all, you should sit at a starting position and then follow the below steps to do that exercise.

  • Step 1: You can sit on the floor while holding a medicine ball or dumbbell in both hands with shoulders relaxed, elbows bent, and arms pulled close to the sides of the body.
  • Step 2: Place your knees and feet about hip-width apart, heels on the floor, knees bent and back straight. And then pull your abs in tight and with a straight back, lean back from the hips until you feel your abs engage .
  • Step 3:Then you can INHALE following our guide. Just keep heels on the floor, abs engaged, and arms close to your body, twist from the waist to the left side. And then exhale as below. Twist back to the center .
  • Step 4: Then twist to the opposite side and repeat.

Here are easy 4 steps to do seated torso twist at home. If you want to make the exercise harder, lean back and/or twist further. Lift one foot off the floor to increase the intensity and balance challenge. If you want to make it easier,just use a lighter weight or no weight.
