Do roman chair situps exercise in 4 steps

 

Roman chair sit up exercise is now very popular, it is partly because of the movie “Rocky” and partly because it is really a good way of exercise.

However, if you want to do that, you should do preparation as it is very difficult to perform.

We suggest you to do regular sit ups first and then try to do roman chair sit ups. Once you have mastered the regular or incline sit up, you can try that. Below is a 5 step guide for your reference.

  • Step 1: First of all, tuck your feet behind the padded bar while sitting on a roman chair, then lengthen your spine and sit up tall.
  • Step 2: Lean back and keep your back straight until your torso is in line with your hips.
  • Step 3: Then keep focused control when performing the above movement. And then raise your torso back to the starting position while engaging your abdominals.
  • Step 4: Practice three sets of 8 to 10 repetitions each time.
